Lots of snow storms suddenly hitting, makes it acrualy feel like winter now! Been a normal week otherwise, steady at work and avoided getting sick thus far! Pretty decent week all in all.

Valentine's day today so I plan on seeing the better half and spending the weekend with em.

PB&J with mint jelly. For some reason people find the mint really weird

Scopaphobia, if people comment on my appearance or actions at all it makes me incredibly embarassed, self aware, and uncomfortable.

Teacher handed out some blank pages and wanted a couple line response to something we were doing that day. I wrote it down and decided I wanted to doodle so I (neatly) tore the page in half and handed in my answer. Got points marked off for not handing in a full piece of paper (my response/answer itself was good). WTH? Since when was that a requirement for such casual assignments?

Reno the place I just bought. I move in in 5ish weeks. Need to finish the ceiling, redo the floors, reno the bathroom and kitchen space.

Its only ~500sqft but I've zero reno experience really

30+ people invited, 1 showed, mother's friend's kid. (I was ~6-8), parents didn't do birthday parties for me after that. Next birthday get together I had was @16 with 3 friends. I'm not an only child but it was just me in that situation.

I got corrective eye surgery cause glasses were an annoyance on everyday life. Can't see from some peripherals, weight on your nose and ears, annoying when you lay down, cuddle etc. They bump about, and fall off if you're active (such as parkour and flipping). Also forgetting or relying on them to see was always irritating, they fog up, smudge, etc. Just generally a hassle I did not want to deal with any longer. They also break, are expensive, and potentially need multiple pairs if sensitive to sunlight, have different prescriptions, or need safety glasses.

I'm sure they're fine for most people but they suuuuuucked in my case.

I just wanted to add, that the heat pump effectiveness is true but a big part of the loss on tiny fridges is the insulation. Many manufacturers cheap out on that front for mini-fridges. You run at a greater energy consumption to compensate for the lack of proper insulation.

Get a good, well insulated mini-frige (using a proper compressor/heat pump) and you're all set. Buy once, cry once, and do your homework folks!

It's just a feature I think a of of people find attractive, big or small. For most people I think it's not necessarily a deal breaker but a small +/- towards attraction. I can't tell you exactly why I like certain features like the nape of the neck, just that I do. I'm not going to dismiss someone as a partner for it either but it's a small +/-. Height is just the mainstream version of that cause a bunch of people relate. Some people like to be made to feel big or small by their partner, height differences can do that.

There will always be the shallow people who dismiss someone entirely based on something like that though, probably best to avoid those people.

I don't go to fast food often, I walked into a McDonalds for the first time in maybe 1yr +? They had the kiosks for self ordering, I looked at the prices and "deals" and decided that the cost/experience ratio was just not worth and just left. I can go to a restaurant or cook myself for those prices (and I did, cooked enchiladas).

It doesn't seem affordable/worth it even for a one-off now
