Counterpoint: How nice will it be without $.99 after every fucking thing that you ever buy ever?

I’m a dinosaur, I run out of DDG browser. Not ideal, but it works for me so i don’t care.

ETA: it’s beehaw, it’s chill.

No doubt. Buyer’s guilt and retribution are very real things though. Some people might be okay with how things are going until it’s their back yard that’s been set on fire.

I just have A/Ts on my old 4wd Sequoia, but we bought my wife’s car down south and it came with summer tires, which turn into rocks under 35 degrees, so I just bought a set of steelies and Blizzaks. It’s got AWD and unless we get more than half a foot of snow, that thing has zero problems.

Being that this guy paid $100k for a meme, I wouldn’t expect him to know anything about traction or tire compounds.

Me neither, but I’ve lived in winters like this my entire life, and swap out my summer tires for winter tires when it’s time.

If only Harvard had thousands of high powered attorney grads who could work together to savagely attack every move Trump makes and tie up his entire agenda in court until his demise.

What if.

Because it’s funny, guy claimed there was ice under the snow. Looks like powder to me from the footprints, but I’m sure it’s like he says, slick as wet glass under that very manageable-looking terrain.

Written like someone who’s never lived in a cold place. It’s incredibly common to get a bunch of rain, freeze while it’s raining, then turn to snow. That’s how you get a sheet of ice under a layer of powder.

The CT is still a giant pile of shit though.

I feel like as long as the banned speech is extremely specifically defined, I don’t care if they look like martyrs. “The holocaust never happened” is easily defined as holocaust denial, and it’s easy to enforce.

The problems arrive when a law is passed with an ambiguous, poorly defined meaning like “hate speech”. Hate speech can really mean anything someone else doesn’t like.

My father in law is a CPA, and even he refers people to certified financial advisers for investment advice. As I understand it, CPAs help you with taxes, and CFAs with fiduciary duties help you invest the money. There’s obviously a little crossover, but I think the lanes are pretty clearly drawn.

I’ve been wrong before though, so I’m open to being corrected if I misunderstand the separation of duties.

Jokes on him. The MMR booster I just got yesterday makes me run a lot faster than the only Kennedy everyone really hates.

Without spoiling the show, get up to date with the show.

There’s about a zero percent chance that 5 year old console components cost more today than they did 5 years ago.

Things like that don’t get more expensive, they get cheaper as new tech develops.

So currently I’m running a 5800x and a regular 2060. I’ve got a 650w gold PSU that’s about 4 years old, no problems with it at all. I’m thinking about upgrading to a RX 7800 XT because GeForce prices are perpetually absurd. It seems like it would be enough power, but the few things I’ve read say that I need at least a 750w if I go with the AMD (because they’re power hungry?), but 650w would be fine for a 4070ti. If I have to buy a new PSU, I feel like it would wipe out any savings I might get by buying AMD over Nvidia. How can I definitively know if I need more power?

Full disclosure, I understand the concept of undervolting, but I’m not nearly confident enough to mess with the settings.
