Automation. Higher initial costs. But then you get your labor rates way down. Of course, maintaining the automatic systems will have an added cost an a few years.

The report indicated that the operators of the bridge should have known it was at risk of collapse. 30x more risk than is acceptable. And it would make the top ten list of major bridges in the U.S. at risk of collapse.
So what are the other nine? And are they doing anything about that?
