Ethical hunting has a principle of Fair Chase
I think the most ethical hunting should go both ways. Some times the hunter wins, some times the animals win.
I say this as a hunter myself. There are many ways to go in life, I would prefer "mauled by bear on a hunting trip" to "died in an old age home with dementia".
