Ethical hunting has a principle of Fair Chase
I think the most ethical hunting should go both ways. Some times the hunter wins, some times the animals win.
I say this as a hunter myself. There are many ways to go in life, I would prefer "mauled by bear on a hunting trip" to "died in an old age home with dementia".
So you’re saying you would also choose the bear
I'd give the bears guns and vests if they could use them. If you are going to hunt, hunt!
