Look, the Ravens are dead. BUT, it’s about time the Texans started looking like an actual football team.

I agree with this sentiment, with one caveat. The idiom “One bad apple spoils the bunch”.

Until the good cops start policing the bad ones, we can’t know which we’re dealing with and so must begin every interaction with self preservation in mind, as if it will be with the bad one. That sours even the good cops, eventually reinforcing the idea of “us against them” and turning them into future bad ones.

The entire process is just flawed.

Have I got news for you…

Humans have discovered we’re in captivity, and so we’ve stopped breeding.

You’re backwards. The rusty ones are the ones getting used because the load and weight cause friction that takes the chrome coating off, exposing the underlying metal to the elements that cause rust.

Normally you grease the ball to keep it from getting bad, but a lot of people don’t keep up with that part.

You know this is an excerpt from a fiction story written by Terry Pratchett, right? This isn’t about a real person.

Yeah I’ll normally do it every other string change. I play a lot, so I’ll go through strings every couple of weeks. Every other string change puts me at about once every 2-3 months for a wipe down and oil of the fretboard.

You’re not wrong.

I had to read the comments to know who this was, and now that I know I’m happy I didn’t recognize him.

Deep cut there. I love it!

Right? Dude, we don’t all live in a city. I’ve got four horses that need to be hauled on a regular basis. Your minivan or van isn’t pulling a gooseneck 4-horse trailer.
