It's warm, partially enclosed, and smells like you.

Concepts of a plan?

So I'm expected to believe these are "traitors to the Constitution" and not representative of America while America just sits by and lets it happen?

I could have sworn I've heard Americans insisting for years that there was an amendment specifically for situations like this, but what do I know. I'm sure doing nothing and expecting the situation to turn out fine is a reasonable course of action.

You are not entitled to get things the way you want them.

"You want to purchase something and use it the way you want to? How entitled can you get?"

How DARE you suggest things should be better for me, the consumer, instead of the way our corporate overlords feel is more profitable!

Well, that's certainly an... Interesting take on someone saying things should be better...

Take it easy, these are traitors to the Constitution.

Cool. Anything being done to stop them?

political memes he liked on Instagram

I never want to hear another American lecture about the importance of "freedom of speech".

Right, and a picture of a woman is not a woman, it's a picture.

You'll find that pictures of women get blurred more often than actual women.

Drawings and sculptures are often censored.

So they'll censor the nipples on a drawing of sculpture of a woman?

That still indicates that a woman is being depicted, just like in this picture.

This is my personal machine that I own, there is no reason for my operating system to "hide" options from me. If I want to never update my system or delete core operating files that's my fucking problem to deal with.

You know what else windows hides from normal users? How to disable information tracking, ads, and this AI bullshit.

When you pull out “software I didn’t start for six months wants to update”

Did the software "want" to update or "force" an update? There's a meaningful difference there and windows often doesn't give you a choice or do anything else while it's updating.

Received a text from a pollster asking me who I'm going to vote for, is there any good reason to respond?

This is a weird one.

I am subscribed to Risa@startrek.website When browsing on my phone I can see the thumbnails just fine. When browsing on my desktop ublock origin blocks the thumbnails and avatars, but only from the startrek.website instance, and only when I'm accessing it through Lemmy.ca

If I go directly to startrek.website I can view everything fine, and other instances I am not encountering this issue with. Any idea what might be the cause? I am using Firefox.

I can go to the main page of a Lemmy instance and see whatever is active on that instance at the time, but is there a way to get something like r/all for all federated instances?
