Yes, NPS staff but anonymously. Is that a problem?

Pathetic. We, the people, have the power. Its why Republicans are speedrunning fascism before the rest of dumb af America wakes up.

Planted Pink Ladies along with Red California Poppy to bring some life to my front yard. I've grown tired of the mono lawns I've seen and wanted to spruce things up.

It's been amazing seeing the flowers blossoming as well as fruits growing. Currently got blackberries, boysenberries, raspberries, blueberries, and grapes looking healthy as heck and pushing flowers!

Oh shit, yes my out/in flow is running constantly. Could that be the cause?

Hmm I have a small 3x3 or 4x4 grow tent; heat mat, lights, in/outflow, and 2 fans circulating the air. During the winter it would be too cold to get any of my peppers to germ as the weather continously dipped below 50 at night. My grow routine would be day time during night so the peppers 'high' would be a smidgen below 60 degrees by the time I woke up.

It's the second time I seen DLI so I'll look into it for peppers

Ah, try canning your excess? I plan on making some pasta sauce for any extra left over. Have you looked into growing vertically?

Oh cheese, I feel ya. I was like that late fall and throughout winter due to my grow tent not just getting how enough to transplant/Jumpstart a few varieties.

By the time I bought a small grow tent heater, the weather began to get warmer. What do you plan on sprouting?

Hello Earth Shepard's! Waiting patiently for some harvests to come in. So far I've been plucking away at my lemon trees to make lemonade (tried wine, but for health sake I'm sticking to lemonade) until everyone else catch up.

Invitees are: Blackberry (x2), Peach (x2), Raspberry(x2), Boysenberry(x3), Blueberry(x1), Strawberry (pulled a few and they're good, x8), Summer Crisp lettuce (still producing and tasty,x6), Tomatoes (Roma and Black Krim,x10), Apple (x1) Bell Peppers(x12) and Zucchini(x2).

As you can see, bell peppers and tomatoes make up a large part of my garden. I'm shifting more to a perrenial grow instead of annuals (peppers here are perrenials) hence the large amount of peppers. In hindsight, I should had bought more Blueberry bushes and at least another tray of strawberry starters.

Besides the strawberries and the trees, everything else has been grown from seed. Pictures are just a minor snippet of what's growing in my backyard.

Click here if you're interested in following more of my garden updates, or here. Anywho, Happy Sunday everyone!

White women will do anything except hold white men accountable. They're content with being numero dos as long as other minorities and women of color remain "at the bottom."

We, The People, give these corporations power over us since we foolishly voted in self-serving politicians that allowed Citizens United to enter the political arena and since then no politician has lifted a finger to repeal it.

We live in a dystopia.

Zone 10B. I forgot the variety of these, either Velvet Queen or just a generic red sunflower variety. The only red sunflower I managed to grow successfully so far compared to the regular kind.

Also learned how to harvest these seeds so I'm looking to keep a sunflower patch growing indefinitely. Just need to squeeze in another spot in the garden ๐Ÿ˜…

Trip Report:

Went 2/17/25 to Angeles National Forest for a quick jaunt. Had the trail to myself, there was fresh mountain lion scat alongside the fire road. I took the fire road route as I didn't want to bush whack through poodle dog bush as older reports indicated parts of the trail is overgrown.

I didn't make it fully down to the camp to assess the damage done by previous fires as the doggo was getting a bit tired. I'll probably make another trip in the coming week or two to check out this area as it's been a cool while since the fires came through. I stopped just before the junction where you can descend to the valley floor.

Total mileage: 4.37 round trip

So stoked to see my tomatoes coming through. These are the beefsteak variety as I'm waiting for my Black Krim to sprout. I decides to go hard on producing more veggies and fruits since I been lollygagging on getting around to starting up my raised beds. Got a no til plot that should be ready to plant in, just undecided if I should give that plot to my tomatoes or to corn? What would y'all do? Growing anything juicy this season?
