Just started Isles of the Emberdark. Just realized that outside of manga I've been reading nothing but Sanderson novels for a good bit

What's your favorite piece of media and why?
I don't see any sane governments trying to make deals with him going forward. He's shown that he will just ignore/change any "deals" he makes in all aspects of his life as he sees fit.
I do suspect he'll go TACO in the end but the fucking chaos in the meantime...
I like that term. AI comics definitely have some kinda weird feel, something about the color choices/solidness and the line work I think. Gonna be using slop sepia in the future

At this point it's kind of entertaining to see him keep raising the stupidity bar. Absolutely fucking terrifying too, but still also kinda entertaining.
As a kid, my family went to the same small island in my home country for holidays every year and even as a kid in the 90s I noticed how year after year, the coral got worse and worse. Made me sad thinking what condition it would be in as I grew up, though I haven't been there in a LONG time.
Knowing this is the story of coral reefs the world over has always been super depressing...
Maybe they're not standing on anything, just floating in space?

It can stand alone I think, but it also is pretty deep in his expanded universe. I've only just gotten into act 2 and there's stuff that ties into other stories, some of which I haven't read, and I'm still enjoying it. Definitely no worries about missing the short story though as he sprinkles it in as flash backs in act 1 of the story.
