Normally we could expect that there are at least records that will eventually come out, but we've seen the current administration use things like Signal to prevent any official records ever being created.

You see absolutely loads of these around Oxford and Reading, and they're starting to become a problem because people are feeding them and they're becoming bold enough to steal food out of people's hands (like seagulls) (sorry, that's not good news).
Kites from Spain were introduced to the Chiltern Hills back in the 90s when there were only 52 breeding pairs in Wales for the whole of the UK. Thirty years later there's 4000 breeding pairs in southern England alone and red kite chicks were being sent back to Spain to help with their numbers.
That's how I understood it, but you could read it as saying the author's experience with Win11 revealed problems with his previous setup (i.e. Linux).

On first glance, I understood the title as saying there were nine problems in Win11; it might be ambiguous but I don't think it's fair to label it as very deceptive.
Hmm, I do remember installing that at one point - it might be that I needed to extract a key from it to configure the plugin. I was on Windows then so it wouldn't have been too hard.
The fact that they fixed the jailbreak just as I was about to do it was part of the reason I moved to Kobo (went with the Clara BW and am very happy with the upgrade).
I have the DeDRM plugin set up on Calibre and it's either it's working perfectly or everything I've bought from Kobo didn't come with DRM (I think it's the first one).

That StealthWriter thing doesn't feel very reliable to me, e.g. it pick up the first paragraph:

I think AI would write "four" instead of 4, would use an em dash, and the construction of the second sentence (a Doctor Strangelove reference?) doesn't feel like most LLM's style.

I'm not 100% sure what that means, but Grammarly is an AI writer thingy (or maybe it's only their premium level?). I know that AI tools do pick up on Grammarly-filtered stuff as these somewhat false positives are a problem in educational circles.
Really? I would be shocked if an LLM's been anywhere near this, it's not in AI style at all.
