We've just watched an old House of Games with Maisie Adams and she did her shocked face when she won on that too. I reckon we'll be seeing more of it, she could be winning the series.

I thought that's where we were! Did we lose it in the lemm.ee shutdown?

And Christopher Lee released four metal albums, plus some singles and EPs, including metal versions of Christmas songs.

If you switch off 2G, bear in mind that it might be your only option to send emergency calls when otherwise out of signal. Remembering how to switch it back on (or even that you'd switched it off) might not be feasible when you need it!

edit: phone typos

Niri does have named workspaces so you can absolutely switch to fixed workspaces like you describe.

I have fixed workspaces but then temporarily add extra workspaces for side tasks - these are relative to the named ones but don't stop you jumping to your named workspaces (assuming you've got your shortcut keys set up to match).

It's funny that early on in TNG they make the point that Picard shouldn't go on away missions, but then the rest of the senior staff beam down every week.

Oh, it's a beetle! Scrolling through my feed I thought I saw a hairy something else entirely.

Thank god for that; even with two pilots there's plenty of crashes blamed on software (looking at you, Boeing).

the Gulf Coast is strange, has diurnal tides (twice a day)

Diurnal tides are once a day (semidiurnal is twice a day). By the Gulf Coast, I guess you must mean the Gulf of Mexico. I'm living on the other side of the world in the other diurnal region, so I assume our tides are synchronised!

I just picked up a bunch of her books in a Humble Bundle so it's good to hear the non-Murderbot stuff is worth reading.

Is it a self-contained story? It looks like there's another book coming out (possibly more) so my instinct is to wait for her to finish the series or prove herself a reliable publisher (having been burnt by Patrick Rothfuss and George RR Martin).

I just checked if this exists (before I saw your post). It's excellent satire as it could so easily be true.
