A show of fealty. Anyone invited who doesn't show up will possibly lose out in the future. It's not something they have to do, but something they can force onto other people.

Wait. It wasn't fully supported until now? I never had any real problems that couldn't be solved by trying a different Proton version.

Ok, but the people at Covenant House aren't the ones who decided to put the anti-homeless architecture in place.

Individualized, personalized education sounds nice, but some kids get anxiety from that much attention. I was placed in small classes because they thought I had a learning disability, but eventually forced my way into average classes. I did just as well being 1 of 15 students as I did being 1 of 5 students. I'd rather have had a large class where I could go with everyone else's flow then have every paced to what they thought I could handle.

Fuck the child study team at my elementary school and especially fuck the guidance counselors and mental health people at my high school.

"If you get placed in the more difficult classes, you might get depressed"

Well, I was already depressed when I asked and I'm still depressed now. I shouldn't have asked for hard classes and I should have just went to those classes and sat down.

I thought the war in Iran was to distract from the protests? What are they going to do to distract from the rebellion then?

If I found out I was talking down to a Microsoft exec when I thought I was talking to a regular employee, I'd double down.

It's Einstein Bros. That's already evident.

It's a word, being talked about as a word. Not directed at anyone. Not being used to insult someone. Stop giving mere words so much power and worry about what's actually being said.

It's especially funny hearing stories of black Europeans dealing with Americans figuring out you can't call them African Americans.

This isn't about IRL. This is about the disinformation that bad actors spread in online communities.

You also have a selection bias. You have friends with similar political views because you distance yourself from people you disagree with, either physically or just through avoiding "sensitive" topics. I've personally disconnected from some friends because they didn't like it when I brought up Biden's historic support of Israel. I still voted for him and Harris over Trump, but that wasn't good enough for them.

Some background info to the legendary Ghost Stories dub.

I messaged the seller asking for the exact name of the connector, but they just reiterated the listing title. I need a two Metri Pack-150 connectors, but I can't find prewired ones and I'd rather not buy a 200USD kit.

New Ask A Ninja. New Home Star Runner. *glances at politics

Feeling like it's the 2000's all of a sudden.

Released in January 5, 1999. I remember owning this software and flawless running PS1 games on my Blueberry iBook with a USB controller. Still wild that a company had the balls to release this thing and actually won the case that Sony brought against them, causing Sony to simply buy the company to discontinue the software.

Bonus: Steve Jobs advertising the software at MacWorld.

Bonus 2: Modern Vintage Gamer breakdown of the software.
