True. I saw this one meirl post about someone whose favorite thing to do is go run errands with someone and everyone was saying a golden retriever wrote it. So I guess I'm a golden retriever.

Yeah this is the same thing I've established. Just be like "hey I won't physically stop you, but I suggest you reconsider"

What I think would be most ethical if I saw someone about to commit suicide by jumping (or other means) would just be to use my words to talk with them but not physically stop them.

I think you meant to say without central servers

I wish driving was a sustainable and humane method of transportation, but it really isn't. I do love driving but I also agree that suburban sprawl is awful and not sustainable financially and environmentally.

How might they do that?

Also homesteads weren't exactly a great place to be. No infrastructure and tornado heaven. People lived there because it was their only choice.

Elon seriously says that his “son” died

To which Vivian responded "i look pretty good for a dead bitch". What a queen.

For me it's calculating. Too many people put math into their search engines and not their calculator.

I discovered a while back that my Garmin GPS keeps track of everywhere I go automatically when it is turned on. I found this article about how I could easily copy the gpx files from it onto a computer. I like to hoard the gpx files it produces. I found a website called dérive which can show hundreds of gpx tracks on an OpenStreetMap background. It's super interesting to look at and see everywhere I've drove in the world. Additionally, the gpx tracks are useful for OpenStreetMap editing.

I read the section two definition of "chemical and surgical mutilation" and it mentions altering sex organs to remove their biological functions. One of the biological functions of a penis is to produce sperm. So could this mean no more federal coverage for vasectomies as well as stuff like tubal litigation or hysterectomies? And yes, I know that people under 19 don't usually get permanent sterilization procedures anyways, but I still wonder about this interpretation.

The phrase “chemical and surgical mutilation” means the use of puberty blockers, including GnRH agonists and other interventions, to delay the onset or progression of normally timed puberty in an individual who does not identify as his or her sex; the use of sex hormones, such as androgen blockers, estrogen, progesterone, or testosterone, to align an individual’s physical appearance with an identity that differs from his or her sex; and surgical procedures that attempt to transform an individual’s physical appearance to align with an identity that differs from his or her sex or that attempt to alter or remove an individual’s sexual organs to minimize or destroy their natural biological functions. This phrase sometimes is referred to as “gender affirming care.”

It's a bit obnoxious. I make this excellent chili for family gatherings and nobody ever calls it just "chili". They always say "vegan chili".

The other day I made some pumpkin bread. When me and my dad went over to my grandmas house, we brought it. My dad announced "She made some vegan pumpkin bread!". Grandma knows I am vegan. So of course if I made it, it will be vegan, no need to state that.

I know this is a really stupid pet peeve that will probably get me downvoted to oblivion, but idk. Maybe someone here also gets it.
