I know it's science fiction and belief should be suspended a bit, but 10K years and their tech is the same? Did they just reach a peak they couldn't pass until Spice was found and used for further travel?

Yesterday I went and got a pcie nvme adapter (my two motherboard slots are taken up by windows+gaming drive). Added in a 2TB to the adapter and installed Garuda linux - based on Arch.

So far it has been great. A couple little things popped up, like adding panels to the other two side monitors. But quick searches online and everything has been working very smoothly. I even put chrome on for work stuff so I don't have to use the company-given laptop. -- Side note, if anyone knows of a way to container that chrome install so work stuff is super separate, please share. --

Like another comment mentioned, some games won't work either because of anti-cheat that isn't enabled for linux, or just not good proton support. But for the most part I can still play 90% of the games I normally do: DRG, CS2, Darktide, battlebit, etc. Hopefully the times I need to reboot into windows are rare, because this has been a great experience. Way better than years ago when I tried to make the switch but gaming support just wasn't where I needed it.

Oh man, I should have known that. Thanks for the assist!

I tried searching for EVO but just came up with a pan/bowl type. Could you tell an uninformed fool (me) what is EVO?

I have the newer M9. Really nice size for reading books and comics. I got the folio cover as well so I'll just walk around and watch movies/shows while doing chores. It's definitely not a fast tablet, but isn't terrible either. Browsing the web is fine, but it feels faster using my pixel 6a instead. Best part, it has a micro SD card slot. I've loaded it up with books, comics, shows, and movies. Going on airplanes is great with it.

I got the newer Lenovo M9 and it's great for the price. It can stutter at times, but comics, books, and stremio - no problems.

I keep a daily journal whenever I go on vacations (especially trips abroad). While I do take photos throughout the trips, I'm not taking them constantly. So lots of little fun/interesting experiences pop up that aren't captured.

My memory isn't the best either, so when I think back on trips I tend to remember the big things versus the little ones. Journaling at the end of the day or in the morning helps me remember the little things. Also, what I was thinking throughout it all. Like being stranded in Rottenburg ob der Tauber after my train was cancelled. Or when a little dog in the park did a front foot handstand and peed backwards. I couldn't get my phone out in time, but I wrote that down ASAP.

I think the pico in the top-right burger will mostly be eaten with a fork after it falls off. But everything looks delicious.

Have you tried this? I'm curious if it takes less time than OTA. It's an actual Google-made site.

Ah, I really wanted to go the zenphone route, but when my pixel 3 (I think) died, I went the cheap avenue with a 6A. I was about to travel to Scotland and needed a decent phone at a reasonable price. If I had the funds I'd have gone with your choice.

Oh man I miss the PH-1. Mine got it's screen cracked so I switched to Pixel. Just such a satisfying weight and size for it. But at the end the battery life was rough.

Maybe comic book stores look really similar, but that reminds me of Graham Crackers in the Chicago loop.
