eh you still get seasons like '11 where OPOY is just MVP Runner Up, giving Brees the OPOY cause in any other year his season would be worthy of MVP, he just happened to have it in a historic season by Rodgers
how valuable is that "whole different level" of play if it doesnt translate to wins
how valuable can you really be if you cant even get your team to the playoffs in the fucking AFCS of all divisions
i think hes saying QBs wouldnt be allowed to win MVP, which would be kinda silly, because theyre obviously the most valuable players
imo keep MVP the same and make a non qb award, maybe make it so QBs arent allowed to win OPOY

except its not really that uncommon for QBs to win OPOY. Almost half (20/50 winners since it was created in '72) of the OPOYs have been QBs
There’s no non-QB this season who has any right being MVP
In order to be a non qb you need to be having a legit all time season, which no one is imo
if youre gonna do that why not just run instead?
