Absolutely! So many incredibly bad drivers and so many garbage cars. Never seen so many broken down cars along a highway. And all the shredded tires. Makes me glad to have something like the TÜV, even though it can be annoying at times.
Lol, I was actually thinking of using TNG as a positive example! Patrick Stewart is trained in Shakespearean drama and enunciates as such. Very pleasant to listen to.

I used to study from about 1 to 6 in the night. Basically when everything is closed and asleep. I then mostly listened to Binärpilot and Röyksopp. This was usually mere days before exams or when papers were due.
I somehow managed to finish studying, so it worked out fine. Work, being a parent and owning a house nearly broke me though. Currently trying to find new coping mechanisms. Fuck adult life.
I must admit, when I first started working after uni, I thought I was hot shit for flying domestically (Hamburg<>Munich). Even had my BlackBerry set to loud, so people know I don't belong to the tourist shmucks. God fucking damn it, I'm cringing so hard at the memories. At least I was away for the entire week and not just a single meeting.
Traveling via ICE is so, sooo much better! I do miss the BlackBerry though. The iPhone keyboard is complete garbage in comparison. I keep the phone silent nowadays. Man, what a cringelord I was back then.
Ich hasse Teams mit jeder Faser meines Daseins. Seitdem der Haufen Scheiße bei uns eingeführt wurde, komme ich nicht mehr zum Arbeiten, weil ständig irgendwelche Meetings erstellt werden und die Hemmschwelle, jemanden anzurufen komplett gefallen ist. Die verfickten Chats runden den Mist ab.
Früher gab es Emails, Telefonate und hin und wieder Kundenmeetings. Jetzt gibt es Emails, Telefonate, Online-Meetings, Chats und trotzdem noch IRL Kundenmeetings. Es ist zum Kotzen.
Was soll das mit den USA zu tun haben? Deutschland hat auch Waffen mit großer Reichweite.
