Could you switch it to the other wrist maybe? Or possibly wear the watch body portion on the inside of your wrist with AOD set to on?

With the Dexcom G6 or G7 the apple watch app will display all the blood sugar data from your iPhone as transmitted to the phone from your CGM device. What this means for you is simple. If you want the readings to show up on your watch, you heed to always have your phone with you. Dexcom is still a bit behind in creating a stand alone link between the CGM device and the Apple watch, and that’s probably due to regulatory approval I would guess. Just go ahead and get y9urself an Apple Watch SE (2023) model.
