Totally agree. Gun issues need to be off the table entirely until sanity has returned to government. Dems need to focus on making normal government operations and improving living standards as exciting as the threat of taking over Canada.

So many times in GTA V I had no idea how to trigger the next mission. I would probably go back to it and play through if it had some sort of indicator for how to trigger the next campaign mission.

I can't wait to get more games on my Epic deck, oh wait it was Valve who pioneered an incredible platform that can play AAA games on a handheld running Linux and made compatibility a reality for thousands of games.

For audiobooks check out Audiobookshelf. On my NAS I run it in Container Manager (Docker) and get the image directly from the built-in repo. I check for image updates every few weeks, though only to keep compatibility with the apps, as I don't notice new features. Very easy to set up, just make sure your folders are named correctly.

I'm coming up on 5 years as a Plex pass owner, so my users and I will not be impacted by this change. In five more years if they asked me nicely to pay another $89 to support the service I would. Send me some stickers and put a badge on my server. I get a lot of use out of the software/service, as do my family members.

I will say, I am quite annoyed at the wording and audience of this email. Jellyfin is just not an option for me until there is excellent feature parity with Plex. I know they are a lot of Jellyfin fans here, in my opinion, Plex is a significantly better experience for me.

I wonder what this will mean for the Analogue 3D controllers. They delayed shipment back when Analogue pushed out the shipping date.

Don't even joke about that. We need fresh blood, fresh ideas, and separation from the old regime.

I really love my Synology NAS (DS220+). I don't anticipate needing to replace it anytime soon, but given how well it's treated me, I would almost certainly replace it with a 2024 model instead of a newer one if I had to, given this new limitation.

This decision from them seems short-sighted, I hope they reverse it.

I can only remember one 45 minute outage caused by Comcast in 4 years at my house, before that I can't even remember one. The rest of the time it's been storms/power - things that would knock out other wireline providers. People shit on Comcast, but it's plenty reliable these days. I'll just use my phone's hotspot and save the $4800 over 4 years.

Unrelated to the troubleshooting content above, the SER9 performs amazingly, and looks nearly identical to my M4 Pro Mac Mini. Its relatively quiet but not silent, stays cool while streaming Halo MCC and Split Fiction, and looks amazing while doing it. I added a second 2TB M.2 2280 SSD in about 10 minutes, the SSD heat sink had a second thermal pad already in place.

I know it's expensive, but for me this has been a great buy.

Beelink SER9 users - I was having trouble with game streaming on my SER9 32GB. The video would freeze (one new frame every 10-20 seconds) in some but not all games. The audio and controls would continue to work. Clients were AYN Odin 2, Retroid Pocket 5, and Apple TV. AMD firmware was either 24.10 or 24.12.

I attempted to update several times to AMD drivers 25.3.1 and 25.3.2. Each time this upgrade failed with a black screen, and I was unable to boot into Windows. Each time I had to painstakingly revert the driver in safe mode with networking to 24.8, 10, or 12.

I was able to solve this by first updating my BIOS to V103.P8C0M0C15.73 using this link HERE. The BIOS download site was slightly confusing, as it states that your serial needs to begin with B, Y, or D, and mine started with 9D. It also refers to the SER9 as the SER9 Pro. As stated, I only have the regular 32Gb with Ryzen AI 9 HX370, the word 'Pro' is not listed anywhere.

The BIOS update process is fairly simple, but needs to be done carefully:

  • Use a USB flash drive (I used an 8Gb)
  • Format to FAT32 (drive needs to be less than 32Gb to format to FAT32 in Windows)
  • Name the drive to WINPE
  • Extract the contents of the zip download
  • Copy the contents of the folder (not the actual folder) to the FAT32 formatted flash drive with the volume label WINPE

WARNING - The process below must not be interrupted. Don't start it during a thunderstorm:

  • Boot SER9 and press F7 to get boot device menu
  • Select flash drive
  • Allow process to complete (~10 minutes)

After completing the BIOS update, I was able to update to AMD driver 25.3.2 using the full download installer. I made sure to check the box for clear user settings, as other posters have suggested this. This new AMD driver 25.3.2 has so far resolved my Steam game streaming issues.

Good luck, hope this helps.

What about these voters makes them unable to sympathize with others when it happens to them? I don’t work in the federal government, but I feel very sad for them when I see them getting fired and their agencies disassembled.

I've been shooting for years and sometimes my lab scans come back with horizontal lines in them. It's somewhat rare that I see them, but I was sad that it happened on this roll as I liked a lot of the shots. I asked one of the employees, and he was not certain. I think it might be something in the scanner or density adjustment, but can't say for sure.

The details:

  • ProImage 100
  • Nikon F100
  • AF-S 85mm 1.8 G
  • Noritsu scanner
  • Processed in a rotary machine, as their mini lab is down for the moment.

I put a curve on this shot to emphasize the lines, but they were somewhat apparent. These lines look somewhat bowed, but other times they are straighter.
