This is the perfect mod for me! When I play these games I love to get real cars that I would have driven or ridden in either as a kid or adult, and push them to their absolute limits. I will be getting this mod asap.

I did. Loved it. Echoes of the eye is a really good addition to the based game and honestly other than the base game, the only game I have very been choked up at.

I have a few from childhood, but the gaming high I am chasing now is whatever Outer wilds was. A beautiful story told through exploration and discovery. I just want to go back and experience for the first time again.

This is the only thing EA has released in years I was interested in. Wasn’t going to buy it anyways, and now I can’t play it even if I wanted to. I’ll just stick to session and skater XL if I want the skate experience.

I selfhost gitea. That, plus Tailscale, has been really good.

I like using it. Mostly for quick ideation, and also for getting rid of some of the tedious shit I do.

Sometimes it suggests a module or library I have never heard of, then I go and look it up to make sure it is real, not malicious and well documented.

I also like using my self hosted AI to document my code base in a readme following a template I provide. It gets it pretty good and usually is like 60-80% accurate and to the form I like. I just edit up the remaining and correct mistakes. Saves me a ton of time.

I think the best way to use AI is to use it like a tool. Don’t have it write code for you, but use it to enhance your own ability.

I use alloy to scrape my traefik logs and pass them to Loki. Then I use logQL to parse out the info and regexp to format so I can use it in a visualization. I don’t have my configs handy at the moment but I can try and get them at some point to share something close to what I do as a starting point.

I’m a parent. Never post photos of my kids online and was able to get my wife to avoid it as well.

Had to have some discussions with the grandparents though about posting photos of the kids online. Thankfully once I explained why they were understanding and now we just keep photos of the kids to shared signal groups between the grandparents, great-grandparents, uncles and aunts.

When possible, I prefer all of my tools to be in terminal. I’m not particularly interested in graphical user interfaces, or using my mouse at all. My only real exception is if I am doing digital art, but otherwise I look for either a terminal version of the app I’m looking for, a TUI, or I make a small terminal based app that utilizes the api of the service I am trying to access.

I’m not mad or anything. But I still do a lot with i686. If this happens I will just have to distro hop. Not ideal, but I’ve done it before. I just really like fedora and would prefer to continue using it if possible.

Sorry I didn’t get back to you right away. But this is correct. I just have Prometheus scrape cAdvisor.

I just did the same thing. Grafana with Prometheus, cAdvisor, Loki, alloy. It has really stepped up my overall systems monitoring.

Hey all,

A while back I made a post requesting any information about emulating games on the Tensor chips from google.

Just recently I broke down and bought the pixel 7.

I will likely be doing some gaming and reporting back here what I find. I will try and aim for the harder to emulate of each of the big console generations that are currently well supported on android.

With that all being said, are there any here that would like any games tested on the pixel line? I have an extensive physical retro game library and have the means to rip the roms from any of them.

I am currently a primary iPhone user, however I am planning a return to android in the next year. I always use custom Roms and lately it feels like I will be moving to GrapheneOS which will require me to move to a pixel phone. I have used a pixel in the past with GrapheneOS on a pixel 4a, but I have yet to use a non snapdragon variant.

I know historically, at least it seems, that Adreno tends to get the most development of emulation geared towards it, specifically on the high end. But, does anyone here have experience using Mali on higher end emulators. I see yuzu has added support recently, but I usually stick too my steam deck for Yuzu. Generally I would be curious about AetherSX2 performance, but any level of insight is greatly appreciated!

Either way I will being going with it, so I suppose I can follow up here with my testing and compare it, relatively poorly, to the SD 8gen1 in my tab s8 ultra.
