Chinese companies are most likely going to fill at least some of the void that the other companies will be leaving to chase AI hype. It won't necessarily be cheap though.

He did say "If Trump lost, I'd be going to prison." Most attribute that to election interference but it also could be about how he runs his businesses.

The US only taxes the difference between the country's tax amount and the US tax amount, at least. Someone living in Sweden may not have to pay anything while someone in Thailand may owe most of their taxes to the US. It still is wild that they demand tax money from citizens all over the world though.

Drug addicts looking for scrap metal aren't much different. They look through abandoned structures, sneak around armed "hostiles", and sleep wherever there are no enemies.

The animation (and this meme) have been around for way longer than modern AI. IIRC I remember seeing this meme in 2019.

As far as I know, they don't even bring drug dogs into US airports. They are almost exclusively explosive-sniffing dogs. The TSA doesn't look for drugs in the first place.

Perhaps it's possible US customs could be using drug dogs, but I have never heard of that regarding airports. I could be wrong though.

Halal white sauce is superior for sandwiches, meats, and dipping sauces. Mayo might be better for tuna/egg salads but it's an indictment that you have to drown out the flavor of mayo for it to taste good.

Airlines were one of the first to enshittify this way in the modern age. I think a lot of the current executives took this story to heart IMO.

Anything that would cause real economic damage and put power back in the hands of workers will be treated as "illegal" regardless of what the books say. But what could they realistically do, arrest everyone in their homes who didn't go to work that day?

Wildcat strikes are "illegal" in the sense that your employer is allowed to retaliate with firing you or docking pay if you do so. I highly doubt someone's going to prison for not showing up at a regular job.

I think they are referring to the US Speaker of the House refusing to swear in Adelita Grijalva after she won a special election in Arizona.

This is why I think large companies with lots of trucking should be paying a lot more taxes for roads and bridges. As it stands now, ordinary citizens are subsidizing them while they turn around and raise prices off the back of this. Corporate welfare for nothing in return

"Indicia" is the correct word, "indica" is the cannabis species. They're probably not fond of the latter.
