Not sure if just a typo, but RFK files, not JFK files. At least according to the Reddit post, maybe it was a typo there instead.
To be honest, the Signal debacle was a way to distract us from the literal bombing that they were using Signal to plan.
I've always felt that one of the solstices being the start of the year was the obvious answer, I always went for summer just because that feels like the better time to throw a party outdoors for it.

My guess is they're investigating him so they can pardon him. I'm not sure how that system works.
Then maybe we could adjust our zoning laws and take better advantage of the land available. Houses aren't very effective use of land.
They like to cause a depression, wait long enough for everyone to forget that they caused the depression, let the regime change once or twice, then fix the issue to remind you that you need them. It's a lot like the whole "pay me to ensure you don't have an unfortunate accident" where then if you don't pay they can cause the unfortunate accident.
