How Kenny Pickett avoided being in that photo is beyond me.

I don’t care about the turnovers. I don’t care about the late defensive collapse. I don’t care about the penalties.

This loss is on Kevin O’Connell. There is just zero excuse for that last drive. From the hyper-conservative play calling when in striking distance of the endzone with a 1 point lead to the punt - the whole thing was a clinic on how to give away a late lead. And that’s why this loss is squarely on O’Connell. His team did enough to win. Despite the turnovers and everything else, they were up at the end. And then their coach gave it away.

All due respect to the guy, I truly believe the reason Kellen Moore has not got a head coach job is because he is really weird looking. It’s like Jonah from Veep and Jim Harbaugh had a large off putting child.

Why is CBS pregame doing this gimmicky bullshit with the chefs and the food? Are they moving into their Fox phase of the pregame show, just being a bunch of old men who try to out wacky each other?

It’s not just sideline reporters. All those little anecdotes and insights into players minds and motivations that Collinsworth busts out are almost certainly bullshit.

Pro sports has become professional wrestling, just without a predetermined outcome (maybe). The modern sports media’s obsession with “storylines” is killing the way the game is covered.

Well, New England. Take solace in knowing that no matter how bad your game was, Fox’s pregame show is somehow worse.

I would gladly accept Travis Kelce marrying T. Swift and her somehow being shoehorned into every single NFL broadcast until the day he retires (and probably then some), if it meant I never again had to have Gronk and his whole party boy man child schtick shoved down my throat.

Say what you want about this shitty game, but German crowds/game environments are ten times better than UK crowds/game environments.
