If you are only detained, the officer can pay down the outside of your clothing to check for weapons if there is reason to believe you may be armed. They cannot search you without your consent unless it is incident to lawful arrest. Regardless of the situation, the correct thing to do is to state that you do not consent to any searches or seizures. If they officer actually has the authority to search you, they will. If they search you unlawfully, anything they find is subject to suppression in court.

Deny them consent to search, but do not physically resist if they do. And do not answer questions without a lawyer.

They're doing the same thing with emails from the VA. Not even trying to be subtle.

These headlines with a snippet of an unattributed quote mashed together with an actual headline are starting to rival "X person DESTROYS Y person by saying Z" for the most aggravating writing style.

I'm not exactly a helicopter guy, but I think that might have been what they call settling woth power. Vortecies on the rotor kill the lift when you decend through your own rotor wash.

Rick Scott of course knows this already, but I'm sure some of his constituents swallowed the lie hook, line, and sinker.

Also, does Scott think we shouldn't demonize other forms of insider trader? Seems like the country has cared about that for quite a while.

Nice. I'm definitely in the auditory reading category. I tend to just pick out the key words in a sentence when I am trying to read faster.

Do people without an inner monologue "hear" the words they read as they read them?
