Oh man, that sucks - for him of course, but also for the team. Here's to speedy healing.

And it's outrageous that America elected a senile, narcissistic, convicted felon who declared economic war and threatens to annex your closest ally, but here we are.

Go fuck yourself, Pete.

Wow, I can stay longer in a fascist shithole ruled by a narcissistic rapist and his Christo-fascist puppet masters? Yeah........no.

I assume she meant that our values align fairly closely with a lot of Europe, but it definitely sounded a little awkward.

Every time I hear Ms. Joly speak, I'm impressed, and she's absolutely right - fuck Trump, bring on the EU and the UK

Misleading headline - the last disruption was a lockout, not a strike, and they were ordered back to work while talks continued for a new contract. Those talks failed, and now the union is in a strike position.

The medias?? Is that what they learned you at that fancy school? 😎

Like it says, I haven't had a craving from a drink in a couple of years, but this week has been nothing but stress - getting sick, crazy at work, death in the family. All adding up to me spending way too much time thinking about how nice a glass or two of good whisky would be. In the end I went for a walk, played some Playstation and had a couple of Guinness 0%. Happy Friday :-)

Just wanted to mention how glad I am that Guinness 0% exists. One of the things I missed most when I decided to quit drinking was a cold pint of Guinness, especially when I'm barbecuing on the deck. Guinness 0% is every bit as tasty as the original - between that and my local brewery's excellent 0% Vienna lager, sober life is good :-). I will not drink with you today!

Welcome to all who stop by. Like it says, this is a safe, supportive community for folks who are trying to quit or control their drinking, for any reason. We all have our own reasons for deciding to put down the bottle, and we're all on this trip together, so why not help each other out? Please feel free to share your experiences, to help other posters, and to ask for help yourself.
