A certain intelligence community has been hard at work minimizing the contribution of the Soviets to ending WW2. It's gotten so bad, I expect the next WW2 era first person shooter won't be having a Russian campaign this time.

One day very soon, something is going to wake people up to the reality that they've been so scared by Russia and China that they've opened the door for a new Nazi regime.

"We asked several NATO plants whether or not they approved of NATO and they said yes" should be the actual article title.

Literally no one I know is happy about this. I have yet to meet a single living person who approves of all this unchecked money and equipment being sent to some European country most people didn't know about until 2014.

Isn't it weird how we've collectively gone back in time 50 years to the Cold War? It's become more and more common to hear libs and conservative call each other commies, the Hammer and Sickle are being banned, and Capitalists talk about the Russian Federation like it's the actual Soviet Union.

Communism101 when Communism102 walks in:

The fact that Elon can make all these nonsensical decisions, like changing the name, allowing nazi propaganda, getting rid of the block feature, and no one can stop him is terrifying.

It's the perfect microcosm of the problem with Capitalism: Shady rich people running everything with zero accountability or oversight.

That would never happen anyway. The Chinese love the guy, and any gripes they have are unrelated to Xinjiang

It really does sound like this person is omitting a crucial part of the story.

Polish people are very Nazi sympathetic.

I like how Republicans completely stopped giving a shit about Hawaii once they found out that it's a blue state. I guess outrage over poor responses are only for other people in the tribe.

Like the kind that made you stop and think for a second about how stupid the person advocating it is. For me, it's the classic "The biggest mistake in recent history was the Allies not pushing into Russia after the fall of Berlin."

There's just a level of imperialist arrogance and blood thirst in there that makes my skin crawl. The worst thing in human history was that the US didn't immediately betray the Soviets and wipe them out until they were sure communism was done for.

First of all, it's written in the most flowery and self aggrandizing way possible. The group is referred too as a "successful counter to Russian propaganda", meanwhile their actual sponsors and leaders are left notably unmentioned. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NAFO_(group)

What do they actually do? Oh they just post irrevent memes. NOT PROPAGANDA, memes. Nothing meant to be taken seriously of course lol.

There is a reception section, and a recognition section, but no "criticism" section. Surely there are people out there who don't support this group right? According to Wikipedia, there is not. Every pushback comes from the Russians, the vatniks, and the orcs. No one cares about the harassment or the slurs, at least no one who matters.

As you can see in this image, the way Wikipedia is set up you'd need some notable source that claims that the group is divisive in some way...except there are no notable sources because all of the approved media says they're the heroes.

If there was ever any doubt that the doge pfps had government/corporate backing here you go. You aren't even allowed to mention them in a negative context.

I like how this patch was allegedly made by Taiwan's military but is in english and has an American meme on it.

NAFO and the Ukrainian flag's are already in the comments mindlessly showing their totally not artificial support. A lot of pledges to buy a boatload of these dumb things.

They were fully prepared to turn the working populace into slave labor and then the government was shocked to see that descision was unpopular.

One thing that catches my eye about this article is that the Guardian specifies "young people" as the cause for the pushback, Gen Z and Millennials, as if everyone else would be perfectly fine working until they fucking die. Just more "Zoomers bad" rhetoric.

Isn't it interesting how libs and cons are both fine with the romantic idea of revolution until someone actually seriously suggests doing something drastic? Y'know, in minecraft?

I am going to preface all of this by saying that I am a bit assmad about the situation.

I found this viral video that's been going around of some dude interviewing a couple about a Hall Pass. The girl excitedly says that she'd do it, the guy looks confused. That's fine, funny even...until you scroll down. Pretty much all the replies are that she's a wh're, he should leave her, calling the guy a c'ck, some people acting like she should be publicly shamed or stoned for daring to answer the question she was asked. Like no action was committed this is all part of an interview.

When I saw this I was really disgusted and kinda shocked by how strong the blowback was. But then it hit me: There is nothing that unites a bunch of asshole men quite like "woman bad." Even a woman talking about her sex life labels her as a harlot that no one should even associate with. Meanwhile the dude that asked the question doesn't get a second look because there's a woman being uppity or something.
