You just need a pass through, real easy to get around.

Don't even need it hooked into a pc... just needs power.
The dock acts as the original screen.... so they think nothing funky is happening.
The hdmi out... option allows a "copy" of the video in... and voila.
I can video capture all my netflix or disney shows.
But I use mine for video game capture and/or just having my firestick on my pc.
You can prob's find a version of that on your local amazon.... it's just the first link that came up when i typed in the name of my card.
I bought it because of the passthough function..... PS3... is not friendly with capture cards because it's protected audio. lol but works great on there
Android is more fun to try out all the free stuff, plus side loading is super fun.
iPhone i like the quality of the apps better.... but my phone is barely played now.
When I switch to apple I had a blast for the first year trying all the new stuff to me.
Now... it's just a camera, phone and chat machine
