That's kind of an unfair generalization. A lot of us are volunteering time, supporting each other at a community level, and just trying to pay the bills. There's such a strong divide between minority groups, the best we can manage is trying to find common ground with each other. There's so much propaganda and misinformation circulating that makes doing that very difficult. Everyone I know is barely scraping by, and it takes so much energy just to make ends meet. The system is designed that way, and oppresses people from having time to even consider what effective actions could progress meaningful change away from the status quo. It's easy to sit back and vocalize what people should do or talk down to the inaction, creating more bitter divide.
