Software issue or hardware issue? Who knows.. 🤔

Yeah, non-trans women don’t enjoy being forever 2nd because they weren’t born men in physically competitive sport lol.

The way you start your post is very telling. You'd have been better off leaving out the first two paragraphs.

It doesn’t take years long studies to understand a woman who transitioned well into or after puberty is still built more physiologically man than women.

Appeal to common sense. Also, why default to exclusion/discrimination rather than starting from a point of inclusion and make adjustments from there?

When a man transitions into being a woman then wipes the floor with every one of her peers, there’s something wrong.

That is not something that has been shown to happen to any significant degree. Seems like another appeal to common sense. Are trans women not allowed to win?

I'm sure you're just a concerned citizen who wants what's best for all involved. 🙄

Here is the recipe I used. Turned out pretty good, so I might return to this recipe in the future.
The other stuff in the picture is spinach, tzatziki, sriracha, rice+buckwheat and some vegetables.
As you can see, I'm not a photographer.

I feel like there's a joke about planned obsolescence in there. 🤔

Is this a subjective scale or based on the totally credible scientific criteria the truerateme subreddit uses?

Thanks for the heads up in any case.

I haven't had the chance to check them out yet, but perhaps Black Bolshevik (@theblackbolshevik) and/or Black Red Guard (@betterredthandead9105).

Kids doing something they believe in while everyone else is arguing about whether they are causing too much of an inconvenience.
Meanwhile the planet is on fucking fire, both literally and figuratively.
The "white moderates'" hostilities against activists of any kind because they cause inconvenience or because the truth is uncomfortable, have always plagued movements like these.
The critique doesn't come from an honest wish to see the movement succeed, they just want activists out of sight and mind.

Edit: And at least JSO are regularly drawing attention to one of the two big climate issues. The other being animal agriculture.

I'll see if soy curls are available online in my country. I haven't seen any when shopping for ingredients so far. If it's basically the same as soy chunks I can probably substitute that. Heart of palms is something I'd have to look around for. Probably won't be the first idea I try out, but I definitely want to give it a shot at some point. Thanks!

Yeah, it would certainly be scaled down in my case. Working backwards from a somewhat similar recipe is a pretty good idea.

[–] OmniDeficient@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 2 years ago

That could also work. I've only made it once and it ended up pretty runny, but that shouldn't cause any real issues in this case.

I'll try out scrambled tofu for the first time to see if I feel it would work. Thanks for the suggestion.

I want to veganize this wet salad recipe.

  1. Probably gonna replace the spaghetti with beans, at least once I've done a test run.
  2. I'd like to partially or completely replace the mayo with something less fatty, maybe cashew? Hopefully some black Himalaya salt can emulate the egg flavor.

  • 500g (17.5oz) spaghetti (dry weight)
  • 600-700g (21-25oz) smoked sausage (about 1/3" pieces?) - Seitan w/liquid smoke, probably.
  • 5-7 hard boiled eggs (diced/chopped or mashed even) - nothing I guess
  • 3 apples (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 300-350g (10.5-12.5oz) mayonnaise - I figure using a cashew based cream I can replace both mayo and egg at once. Might add some mayo or oil if the salad needs fat.
  • 500-600g (17.5-21oz) pickled cucumber (vinegar, not brine - chopped)

Stir in some milk if the salad starts getting dry.

I'd love some instructions on the mayo/egg replacement, as well as the smoked sausage, to make sure the chances of success are as high as possible on the first try.

Jessie Gender did a thorough analysis of the essay. @Jammidodger and several others have also gone through it. @ContraPoints, @Shaun_vids and many other youtubers have documented Rowling's anti-trans shenanigans and how it's basically become her raison d'être, much like Graham Linehan.

Seems like they had to sign an NDA. The thread came up when I was searching various tags, so I have no more context. Hopefully turns out to be a big (vegan) nothingburger.

Dramatization of a Reddit discussion.

I finally got around to buying some wheat gluten, and I hope to make some seitan or similar in the next week or so.
I'm looking for tips from more experienced vegans on recipes that are simple (few steps and ingredients) and also tasty enough to make someone want to experiment more.
Please don't put too much effort into this as I'm liable to lose motivation and take weeks actually getting around to it.
