Just don't engage with the site. Remain a guest user. If you really wanna, use Tor to remain anonymous.
You could install Firefox Focus, and set Jerboa to always open in that. Firefox Focus is an incognito only version of the browser that deletes all data on every exit.
Coming from sync, I definitely feel this difference.
Thought of that but that could cause confusion for people trying to find the jerboa community. On reddit, nobody really goes on the reddit subreddit

Right now I have Jeroba and Lemmy.ml "installed" as an app through firefox.
I tried both play store and fdroid version. Both were outdated.
Now I'll just download the new apk off of github when I hear a new version was released.
