Could you daisychain a pair of them and have a last gen Nintendo console, current gen Ninty console, and your monitor?

Then you could switch your switch to the Switch then switch to the switch two for the Switch 2?

Not long after I passed my test and was still an inexperienced driver, went down a road that takes you from the top of a big hill down to the bottom, the road being around five or six miles long with a sharp hairpin bend about half mile from the end.

Being fairly new to independent driving and not appreciating the joy of engine braking; I rode the brakes the entire way down. Towards the bottom, the smell from the brakes gave away the telltale smell that something was very wrong, and it was only on the approach to the hairpin that I realised that the brake pedal was going right to the deck and offering no retardation other than my own.

Even after forcing the car into second gear and steering left like I was in a one man yacht, I barely got round that corner.

I started to appreciate the need for escape lanes after that.

Both overrated. The good ones have a fairly low financial input on a monthly basis. The worst ones can set your house on fire.

Highly exciting.

I'm not a huge Skibidi Toilet fan, but dafuqboom's three America short skits are quite entertaining.

I think you're spot on yeah.

Content aggregators (where Digg, Reddit, and to a certain degree StumbleUpon were the obvious choices) generally use the upvote/downvote tooling to promote content that users think are worthy to be shared or should be seen more; same with comments if they add constructively to the discussion regardless of viewpoint.

The problem with using upvote and downvote style tools to express like and dislike means that you just end up with an echo chamber of "goodthink" and a community that circlejerks itself, where dissenting or controversial but possibly accurate comments and posts never see the light of day.

Man that article is light on detail. It's just the headline with more words.

No details about the how, what, who, when, or why.

I'm quite the fan of Led By Donkeys but the article seems to do nothing but fellate them with no actual substance.

I mean, it doesn't really need to get to the courts, does it?

Media providers are generally legal-phobic so they'll just demonetise or suspend a video or clip while it gets sorted out... and as it's usually all automatic in process with very few humans in the loop, it'll take a while before it gets sorted out, where the impact of the unavailability video or clip will have had it's full effect.

If nothing else, it makes it a little more hostile for arseholes to use music or licensed content that they know is going to attract legal drama and tank their viewing numbers or viewer reach.

haven't got opposable thumbs, have they?

I asked my eldest child what he wanted to do when he was older.

He said "I want to be one of those people that put cables into people's houses".

Absolute lad. Electricians are fucking voodoo workers. I don't think he'll ever be short of work either!

edit: that said, if I had to change career tomorrow, I think I'd go into either data networking at the physical layer, or work for a telecoms firm dropping fibre and sorting telephony dramas and whatnot.

Could have really stirred the pot in 2011 with "u mad bro?"

Three word word of the year. Would have been a banger.
