The app most definitely isn't also going to collect significant portions of data as state sponsored malware...

Idk if we can call it native, since it's electron, but I do enjoy my keyboard from them.
Because wizardry is like life in that universe, and while you personally could learn how to manufacture a cell phone, you'd still need significant resources, equipment, insider knowledge/private IP (Know the spell/incantation), and time. This parallels our world where it might be easier to enchant specific items you've specialized in to sell (crafting, maybe like a self warming tea cup) or work in magical remedies/restrictions/enforcement (service work) for currency which you can then use to purchase a wand than it would be to harvest the ingredients for your own wand and somehow know the enchantments and crafting techniques to create it. Also, wizards are magic, they are not all powerful.
Did you ever resolve this? I'm curious what it was.
Canada is one of the largest suppliers of uranium for enrichment, like literally #2 or 3 in the world. I feel you left them off your list for... Dubious reasons.
The bar for investigation is now so high that he's practically immune to it. Short of literally shooting a congressman out in the middle of the public view, there's not much that would trigger one.
Hydrogen and it's future were purely cemented in a society with battery technology maxing out in advanced alkaline cells. Now that we're able to produce cheap, robust, and recyclable Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries with reasonable energy densities, hydrogen is pretty much officially dead. The only way it might survive is in heavy equipment applications, but pivoting those off of fossil fuels and their associated infrastructure is basically not going to happen for the foreseeable future and wouldn't really make sense anyway since the bulk of available hydrogen is manufactured using methane captured during traditional fossil fuel extraction. I'd compare it to the hype around recycled plastics/paper, purely manufactured based on the ability to sound good in marketing and inconsiderate of the significant downsides.
$500? You need to actually visit rich people clothing stores, $500 would come nowhere close to what they pay.
We pay 1 out of every 5 us dollars collected in (federal) taxes to interest on this debt. It's absolutely insane how many people/companies in America who likely haven't paid their fair share of taxes are making a killing off of our debt (because US debt for the most part is owned by US citizens, companies, and banks with an addmitedly sizable but overall trivial portions owned by foreign nations/nationals).
I mean a full and unconditional surrender from P̶o̶l̶a̶n̶d̶ Ukraine to the N̶a̶z̶i̶s̶ Russians would be a quick end to the war. I don't think it would fall under any sane civilians definition of "easy" though, it'd likely be just the beginning of the walk to the chambers for them...
Fr. Modern royalty still have these power struggles lol.
It's a one way ride for us all. Cherish it while you can. Spread love when you're able.
