It's too bad the statute of limitations has long since passed because I would have loved to see those fuckers in jail.

That was 2004. Why tax fraud?

I had one actively stealing my checks to make me quit. Guess what I did?

It needs one more badger

Maybe that's true maybe it's not. Maybe the manager is a wage slave living paycheck to paycheck just like the rest of us.

Frankly I've always wondered why management doesn't unionize along with the rest against the c-suite.

In that case they have no excuse for the fake audience.

I like him but I couldn't shake the impression that the audience was a bunch of black cutouts and that the laughter was a laugh track.

I believe that particular set of 4 performances was done during the height of lockdown.

Exactly this. I'm sick of people saying "The Economy™" is doing so damn well. Never has it been clearer that there are many economies, 2 of which are the economy of the investor and the economy of the working class*. The absolute tone deafness of statements about "perception mismatch" only serves to illustrate the brutality of class conflict. It's not a misperception of reality, we're living in 2 different realities.

*Also the economy of the impoverished and the black market among others.

I'm just worried about how the Rs will turn this precedent upside down.

Only time will tell.
