I'm just gonna keep posting this any time I see the military acting as a police force.

There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people.

If an aussie can make cubane in his shed in the backyard, I'm sure a bunch of nerds working together can get this done in 3 days.

It's weird that a guntuber is where I saw this posted first... Granted he's very clearly left if you watch some of his videos.

And he just posted a data security video the other day about how DOGE and Palantir are working together.

It's simple.

Just change the entire way elections are run from the ground up, and then you'll have all the options you need!

Oh, how do you go about actually changing elections?

Don't worry about that, it'll be sorted..... somehow..... Just keep voting third part and it'll all magically work out!

You know, assuming we still have elections in 2028, and assuming potential elections aren't one of those "vote for the correct candidate or off to the gulags for you" kind of elections and opposition is only allowed to run because the votes don't matter.

Something something both parties.

/s, since we live in the age where most of that could be said in complete seriousness.

They probably didn’t even read beyond the title.

I was convinced a long time ago that none of them read a single fucking thing that comes across their desk unless it involves money.

They read the titles of things, form an opinion based on the title, and vote whichever way their party leaders tell them to.

The ones that vote differently I figure either know it won't make a difference, they have some way of benefiting from the opposite outcome, or least likely, they genuinely believe their constituents will receive the greatest benefit from voting another way.

And they make it super obvious with some of the names that they want people to stop reading at the title and don't bother looking any deeper.

I'm just waiting for protests to be labeled "insurrection"

I remember when we used to hang traitors.

There sure are fucking truck loads of them in that picture.

I remember when the French helped us beat some tyranny away from our borders, and although I wouldn't ask them to get their hands dirty when we start wrestling ourselves, I sure wish we could channel some of their energy into the people who "oppose" things like this.... From their couch.

I long to see French level of protesting here in the states.

Oh but that's totally only if you can't prove you weren't going to use it for crime!

How do you prove you weren't using it for crime? Good question!

And even if a judge believes you, OH well, too bad the cops already spent it! No, you can't get money from their budget, that would be theft or fraud or some other crime we can figure out after arresting you.

Well yeah, fetuses are the perfect thing to platform.

They don't make any demands on you.

As far as the US government is concerned at least, they don't require food, water, shelter, or any assistance. It's all on the mother. Not "the PARENTS", mind you. The mother.

Pregnancy complications? Mother's fault. Never mind that she couldn't get Healthcare, food, or shelter for herself. Those things are commie-social-Marxism if we just gave them to her.

And when the fetus pops out as a baby after hopefully 9 months, it's again on the mother to provide. Never mind that she can't afford Healthcare for herself or her child, or food, or daycare so she can work to afford those things, or, or, or...

And if you think otherwise, clearly you are a spawn of Satan and hate America, something something Jesus.

Oh completely 100% agreed, and neglect isn't the only form of child abuse going on but CPS has visited them plenty of times and interviewed all the kids and neighbors (before we moved in) over custody battles with some adopted ones. (they're all related, long story with too many identifying details but some parents died and all the children are cousins and siblings) so they at least aren't doing anything that CPS cares about.

But holy shit I have never wanted to curb stomp my sister in law a-la American History X more than when I went over one day and I could hear screaming halfway down the 1/4mi driveway, and when I walked in she was in the 6 year Olds face screaming at the top of her lungs about how she's tired of telling the 6 year old to put her shoes away, four of the kids were slowly doing chores in the living room and kitchen with tears running down their faces, and I could hear the 13 year old sobbing upstairs. Their mother screamed so hard and long that she burst a blood vessel in her eye and detached the retina. As usual though the moment she saw me she stopped and pretended like she wasn't doing anything.

Since then I've had my phone on record in my pocket whenever I'm coming over unannounced just in case I can catch it. Bare minimum it will be something to show the courts when one of the kids becomes a serial killer.

Their dad is no help, he's an enabler and honestly a broken shell of a person when it comes to his wife.

Grandparents are worse than parents.

My wife watches them whenever she can, and takes them on surprise day trips to get away from their parents and some of the siblings when possible but holy shit they do not make it easy to take them anywhere.

I don't regret marrying my wife but I can honestly say my in-laws are insane and anyone could understand why I hate them.

Uhhhhhhh what was the topic again? Sorry for the vent.
