As this thread is quite old you won't get a lot of additional engagement I'm afraid. What you can do is outline your situation and ask the natives how they would proceed. There are a lot of ways to ... Live in this system without following the intent of the rules :)

The petitions are again something else. As another user said: when the federalistic complaints don't succeed it's legal time. Even different government bodies sue each other regularly.

And it's not as terrible as it sounds: a complaint is highly subjective and in Germany the system tries to push decisions very fast to "correct" or "incorrect", removing the subjectivity of right or wrong.

Now what our legal and formal system have defined as "correct" I full heartily disagree with regularly. The intention to remove subjective evaluation I welcome though for formal bodies. That removes the leeway to have informal discrimination. And formal discrimination becomes at least transparent right away...

Yeah but I thought this game only uses common phrases and words not just "makes some sense", that's what confused me! I simply thought I'm missing something :D

Thank you!

Can someone explain the "shoo xxxx" to me? Can't find a translation for that, only a reference to a nursery rhyme that I've n never heard of.

Joke's on you, user has virtualized windows ME.

But on a serious note, doesn't that simply kill the virtual machine with a useless amount of load? What is different on MacOS? As in: couldn't I do the same with any virtual machine independently of the host OS?

Not familiar with MacOS at all but I wouldn't be surprised if Apple just doesn't respect the VM and has some "safeguard" intervention mechanic...

They are employed by themselves. They are not employed AS anything else. You have it right just your conclusion is inconsistent.

It's for me not about the wording of the last paragraph by the way but about the context and requirements list which makes the impression (to me) of offering an employee/employer relationship which is only broken up in the last line. That's the part I really don't like.

This kind of advertisement would be illegal in Germany btw as it would encourage pseudo self employment: someone self employed who is relying on one client only. (And no, not exaggerated: I've a legal department at least pull job description from the tech dept similar to this).

You misread the OP. They said that the message should be more clear even if it would be a failure - which it isn't which makes it even worse.

Your display shouldn't say "..." it should say ZERO MILES or something more clear.

When a sensor breaks the message should be "get fuel, bro, cause I have no idea" and not "no idea what's going on".

And as in this case the sensor didn't even break...It's just bad design to have it say "sensor has no data".

Now the question if we want someone driving who is dependent on good design in this context is a different question all together.

Heh I literally at the same time you posted answered to someone else that I think I er where I'm coming from.

Personally my issue is more with the framing ("looking for an employee") than with the fact that they want/need a contractor.

I still wish them the best and would encourage everyone qualified to put their energy into a project like this rather than ... Close to anything else!

"you will be employed as an independent contractor"

Dear (US) companies: this is not "employed". This is commissioned or mandated, depending on the contract details.

Well the title says it already. Is it possible to source an ergonomic keyboard from the EU? After finding the tenth keyboard layout or music keyboard page I'm giving up searching and start asking.

I've found several EU resellers but not yet something really produced locally

Bonus points for split keyboard and being custom flashable (would love native neo2 support).

Thanks for any pointers!
