Firstly Perez never says this in the article. Secondly not only people who are at red bull but even people who have left red bull have confirmed that the car is never built for a particular driver. Instead, RB develops the car in a way that makes it faster and that just happens to be a oversteery car. Max is able to live with it and hence is able to extract the performance. If RB had 2 Sergio's they would have needed to make a fundamentally slower car because Perez would be able to extract the max from that car and not to able to do the same with a oversteery car. In that scenario, the car would seem slower than it actually is due to Perez's limitation. Kind of like a CPU bottleneck (Perez) masking the true performance of the GPU(car)

What bling¿? I thought endeavorOS was very minimalist as well. Just arch with an easier installer

So in Honda's latest flip-flop they're coming back to f1 again, but completely separate to the RBPT Honda engines that Red Bull use?

Yes and no. RBPT is just a honda engine rebadged because honda were leaving and did not want their name on the engine. But they own the ip so while the 2026 Honda program does not link to the RBPT Honda Collab currently going on, there is a good chance that their 2026 PU will use a lot of IP of the current engine.

Yeah Aston will be the sole buyer of Honda so it will a works partnership where the chassis and engine can be designed for each other. If you are just a customer like McLaren is for Merc engines, they get little to no way to influence engine design

I think considering how difficult it was this year to organize the weekend, there is still a way to go before we get a sprint in vegas

[–] Sentau@feddit.de 4 points 2 years ago

For us to stop watching them and buying tickets to go see them at the circuit. As long sprint weekends have higher viewership(in terms of time spent watching formula 1), they have no reason to drop sprints no matter how much we bitch about it.

COTA also has the capability to be a great circuit for a sprint

It seems your igpu is being used instead of the dGPU

This is what I dislike about merc/toto. When they were winning they used to sing of how sportsmanship is very important and try to exude this holier than thou attitude. The moment they have stopped winning, the masks have come of and now they seem just as cutthroat as RB and horner. At least horner never hides the fact that he is a bastard who will take any advantage that comes to his team

F1 drivers of the distant past often raced in many outside races. It was common.

Well the number of races and hence the demands f1 places on drivers was also lower. With 24 races being planned, I can't see much opportunities for drivers to race in other series even if they want to.

I haven't faced this issue. Is there any more information you can provide¿? Does the app actually crash during usage¿? Maybe this a Samsung thing.
