Download the offline version maps of wherever you plan to stay/travel to. You can do this via google maps or OSM maps, at the very least it's helped me keep peace of mind when out and about.

I think in order to actually attain that egalatarianism from a male perspective it requires a strict pro male POV on our side in spaces like this because the default in a lot of mainstream conversations about gender related issues and problems start from the framework of feminist theory invoking ideas like "male privilege, oppression" which prioritize the oppression and issues affecting women first and foremost and I don't think a framework that excuses phrases like "KillAllMen" should get a free pass in spaces like this.
To be blunt, I don't care if incels, red pillers, feminists or right wingers wanna comment in this space so long as they abide by the rules of civility and attack ideas and act in good faith when our ideas go against theirs and challenge them.
The video above is a long essay on the experiences and research the guy in the video has put into understanding the modern dating situation men have to deal with when it comes to dealing with conflicting ideals on what a proper approach looks like all the way to how consent works in the modern dating world but from a man's POV. I'm curious about the guys in this community, does what he describe in the video mirror your experience? even if it doesn't I'd be curious to hear why and how.
I don't know why but Lutris has been consistently dependable at installing and launching gog games but installing them via heroic launcher has been hit or miss where it says it can't locate the install folder. Maybe I mishandled the mounting of the SD card but Lutris has been a simple way to install more gog games from my library so that's why I use it more than adding each non steam game one at a time.
I like this idea of promoting media that isn't actively trying to tear us down or perpetuate caricatures of us. Shout out to the Castlevania series on netflix. A series that has deep and complex male characters of all types who evolve and go through their own journeys throughout the series.
Outreach and exposure are things I worry about a lot in terms of having this community on lemmy. Granted it doesn't have to deal with the whims of random admins doing god knows what to the policies, mod permissions and api prices but the one thing I'll give to reddit was the cross exposure across subreddits was unparalleled, it was a simple autocomplete /r/InsertSubredditNameHere and that ease of click through was a major factor in getting the word out to people who had similar outlooks to LWMA but may not have known to look for that kind of phrasing or name.
In my ideal future, I hope this community can one day become it's own instance with it's own funding (patreon maybe) so as to make a self autonomous space for us to discuss media, research, personal issues and where we can come together.
Would it be in bad taste to repost some of the archived posts from leftwingmaleadvocates?
Even though they're old I think they still hold a lot of relevance for this community and hold a lot of insight to start interesting conversarions.
So a team of you just collectively stomping/T-bagging a random dinosaur Skeleton?
