Hmm ... niche ...

One I got from a friend of a friend is a taste in shitty old cars. Whenever I'm out walking the dogs and happen across an obscure or currently rare, but shit, car I'll take a photo of it.

Everyone loves the "halo" models, the GTIs and Turbos, but I love to see a rusty 1.4 diesel that didn't even come with carpets when new :-)

I've never ever found another woman to nerd out about old cars with, unfortunately, and most guys do the knowledge test thing which is most offputting :-/

Rocks are cool, I don't understand why anyone wouldn't appreciate a collection of them.

My mother is trying to downsize her stuff because her health is going downhill, she gave me the best of her rock collection and it's on the shelf next to me while I type this ... they're really nice rocks.

Plus sales tax.

The US is weird ...

On Her Majesty's Secret Service the second actor to play the role gets beaten up, after which he says "this never happened to the other guy!"

I can't wrap my head around why anyone needs or wants more than one house or flat.

Maybe because much of my life has been lived in areas with holiday homes, and the seasonal nature of life going from hardly anyone around to overrun with privileged assholes feels intensely unnatural and damaging to places where communities used to exist.

I've heard enough horror stories about coils, and I've had enough instances of medical stuff not believing me over my level of pain to understand how this creates a perfect storm of sexist BS where people are suffering unecessarily.

It's amazing to me that women who work in medicine still perpetuate this unsympathetic attitude.

I agree with all this. I also have a soft spot for The Cat Returns because that was the first one I saw, lol

Well, I am a gun nut and I feel the same way (in Minecraft)

Just chipping in to say we don't do American style pancakes here, but we got an electric crepe plate as a present years ago from my sister in law ... I wasn't very appreciative at the time, but that thing is awesome! (Sister in law has been thanked for it many times since BTW)

Hi, Iḿ not in the US, but earlier this year had the opportunity to try shooting firearms of various sorts for the first time, and it's something I'd like expand my knowledge about ... when I go on youtube the videos I've seen have been American with a right-wing lean which range from comedic, through surreal, and into creepy.

It would be nice to see content from people who are vaguely normal.

(Edit: especially if it has to do with revolvers!)

Are there any other shows out there of this sort of lighthearted nature, yet made with quality writing, out there?

It feels like a lot of recent things we've watched has been a bit grim and/or relies on spectacle rather than telling a good story and working a few jokes in along the way ... the world is on fire, I'd like to stop it and get off, if only for a few minutes at a time.
