I'm out of the loop, what this criticisms is about?

Never mind, found this: https://piefed.social/comment/12508093

I actually really love the default wallpaper in KDE Plasma. It changes with every release. I have a friend who also uses Plasma, and before each release, we always joke that the new wallpaper is our most anticipated feature because we're too lazy to change our wallpapers ourselves and simply wait for new releases to do it for us.

I use it just as a regular second screen - guides, videos.

If you don't use it for anything, launchers like Cocoon will display the game logo + status bar with info like battery, time, notifications, etc. The launcher sets the brightness to minimum when you don't use it, but the status bar is still visible this way. You can see this in action on my post photo.

It's expected, given that the base PS5 was released six years ago.

But did they use a PS5 dev kit to develop this? I'd expect a game with this level of fidelity to be developed on something more powerful, like a PC, to unlock its full graphical potential. But at the same time, we're not getting a PC release on day one. I suspect they just have a deal with Sony 😞

Yeah, you created an account on .dbzer0, and the first thing you did was comment on !Memes@lemmy.ml and !Linuxsucks@lemmy.world. Then, after the ban, you posted here. Not suspicious at all. BPR

Do you mean, is there a bigger-screen version of this handheld? No, but it's about the size of a 3DS.

There are plenty of larger single-screen handhelds, though.

Love it! I bought it at launch 🙂

RetroAchievements for Terraria require tModLoader, which you normally can't run on Android. I tried getting it to work with GameNative, but had no success.

But recently, I discovered this Android app that lets you run desktop .NET apps: https://github.com/FireworkSky/RotatingartLauncher

The installation is pretty straightforward: you just specify the path to the GOG Linux version of Terraria and the path to a ZIP file containing tModLoader.

For mods, I downloaded them on my PC through Steam and simply copied the .tmod files to:

<Internal storage>/RALauncher/Terraria/tModLoader/Mods

For save files, I set up Syncthing to sync ~/.local/share/Terraria/tModLoader/ to: <Internal storage>/RALauncher/Terraria/tModLoader

By default, the game opens stretched at a much lower resolution, but going to Settings -> Video -> Fullscreen automatically sets the correct resolution.

To log in to RetroAchievements, I had to connect a keyboard to enter my username and password. While doing so, I noticed a small bug: connecting a keyboard while the game is running crashes it.

I haven't seen this app mentioned on Lemmy, so I hope someone finds this useful.

P.S. The handheld in the picture is an AYN Thor.

And they will be selling it at the current house prices, keeping all the reduced cost to themselves.

Not very princess-like in this look 😅

Bought these shorts and top from a local maker.

I think she did an excellent job. The shorts have real pockets:

And they have a little snap at the back:

The top closes with Velcro at the back:

A few more photos:

Really like these sneakers from Zuru balls. They're massive, so she can stand on her own in them:

As for the doll herself: I like her a lot, but her wavy hair require some maintenance. I have to comb them from time to time.

I agree about universal links, but I'd also highly recommend Lemmy Universal Link Switcher plugin. There is also a similar one for Mastodon.

Not sure how it's related, but it's an interesting article 🤔

Bought from a local master 🙂 The dress is lined and fastens with a button at the back.

A few more photos on of the doll in it:

Strange that they did this after the price reveal. Could they have decided that it's not very profitable and maybe the case required further adjustments (like it doesn't fit or melts since they developed it before they could get a prototype), and this is why they canceled it entirely? LTT had a companion cube, but they never put it on the Steam Machine.

It’s a crate for server-authoritative networking. We use it for Simgine, but it's general-purpose.

Highlights

  • Update to Bevy 0.19
  • Resources replication.
  • Component/resource diff replication.
  • New visibility scope AllExcept.

See the changelog for the full list of changes.

Not mine, but I found it funny 😅

Thank you a lot for the info! Hope you'll find a solution!

For several months I notice weird slowdowns on this instance. I'm pretty sure it's not my internet since other instances works fine... Anyone else noticed it? First loading of the front page is especially slow for me. It's about 7 seconds or so. I live quite close to Germany 🤔
