usenet IS direct downloads. Unless DDL you mean like mega, mediafire, dropbox, gdrive, pxieldrain, rapidgator, debrid etc etc.
usenet farm gives 10gb per email. Downloading new contents or new nzbs, no issues. Old contents, not so much.
It depends on how you use it.
Real Debrid can be use in PLEX or stream. Download links can easily be found like rapidgator etc. Releases are faster too like rlsbb and hdencode.
Usenet you need multiple indexers to maximize your usage. Sometimes having one indexer is not enough.
Usenet will cost you more than Real Debrid. So, wait for black friday deals.

if you are going to subscribe to vpn to bypass quota, why not subscribe to mega instead? Even the lowest plan is fine (1tb transfer) if you are not a heavy downloader. I think it's cheaper if you use google play.
I think some people giving free invites now like I did. I gave my last 3 invites to people that have no experience in private trackers so they can at least enjoy it before shutting down.
