With Bazzite you will choose AMD or Nvidia when downloading the iso.
You probably are seeing more about NVIDIA because it's usually more difficult to get things working with NVIDIA than AMD on Linux, so it's a bigger deal that they have NVIDIA working out of the box.
With Bazzite, you can choose which desktop environment you want to use when you download the ISO. The KDE desktop will be more windows like, and the gnome desktop will be more similar to MacOS. The underlying OS is the same.
I assume it means they don't include a web browser in the bootable live USB environment. Which is odd. But I also assume when installed it will include Firefox or something.
That said, have you also considered Bazzite? It worked great for me.
At this point there is a pretty solid list of reasons to avoid Brave and use another FOSS privacy focused option.
Personally, everything I've read about Brave makes me trust them even less than Microsoft, and Google.
Thats fair. I haven't really noticed any of those issues. For my use case of just organizing and streaming my desktop's media library to my TV, its fantastic.
Jellyfin is so much better anyway. I used plex for years and it has steadily enshitified.

I remember what a game changer Trillian was 20 years ago. Having AIM, MSN, and ICQ all in one app was so nice. I have yet to find anything modern like that. I just checked and Trillian still exists but it appears to just be its own stand alone chat app now.
