Trump is breaking all alliances. He wants Europe’s help on Iran and Israel and against China, but they won’t want to help if he’s attacking them. This is backfiring spectacularly.

Haiti has a lot of lynchings of suspected gay people. Grenada and Barbados and Dominica still jail people for gay sex with long prison terms.

So does the Caribbean and much of the developing world, but like UAE these old laws are still on the books but not enforced. Can you show me an example of death penalty being carried out in UAE for homosexuality in the last few decades?

Hamas offered to return all the hostages and was in the process of doing so when Israel broke the ceasefire a second time. Netanyahu has said that it doesn’t matter if they hostages are returned, he will not stop the war.
And Israel held thousands of Palestinians without charges or access to lawyers or family, by your logic does that mean that Israelis don’t deserve sympathy either?
The NRA refused to support Philandro Castile who was shot for legally owning a firearm. Their spokesperson said on one of the Meet the Press style shows that the NRA has a lot of cops as members and they don’t want to upset them by supporting a black guy shot by cops.
Much easier to pull out after, and I can leave quicker despite taking slightly longer to pull in.
