They’ve always way overcharged on RAM upgrades, except for when the M4 came out and they bumped all base RAM to 16GB for free, making the M4 Macs a slightly better than average value when comparing to prior Macs.
I don’t think the RAM upgrade cost has recently gone up either, but I could be wrong.
I love a good hot toddy, but alcohol is poison so I’d advise against drinking much until you’re better.
At least on iPhones, when you’re using speakerphone, the mic used is at the top of the phone, right next to the ear piece so you can use the screen and talk into it at a natural angle. Pretty sure most Android phones are the same. Most people don’t know how many mics are on their phones and don’t know how they work at all.

Yeah I can see how that was confusing. I’m defending the person who doesn’t want to drink black coffee. Maybe all they’ve ever had is bad coffee, so they think they just don’t like black coffee since they’ve always had to mask the taste with cream and/or sugar.
Or maybe all they’ve ever had is bad coffee which requires cream and/or sugar to mask the bitter, burned tasting crap someone burned or brewed improperly.
Dems have always had a messaging issue, but undoing that rebranding would be a step in the right direction.

I think we can all assume the answer to this. I’ve given up on being hopeful for positive change.
I’ve done that plenty of times. I’d encourage you to do so too. You’ll be shocked with how many people you thought you knew say something to the effect of, “but I like the things that get advertised to me and I’ve clicked on a bunch of them and bought things from them! Why would I want to block them?”
I’ve even explained the whole thing about companies building flawed profiles on people and how governments and bad actors can use them as a reason to investigate you. This works with people I know and get along with well, but doesn’t seem to make any difference with others.
