Job hunting, both locally and in my preferred EU countries. If anybody has a lead on a mechanical engineering degree in Germany or Sweden please slide into my DMs. Unsure if there's a path into the defense industry but I'd rather help against Russia than whatever is going on here in the US...

Hell yeah, sounds like a plan. Have you run into any compatibility issues? I've read that bank apps can have issues and my CU is unlikely to work. I tried setting their website up as a PWA but ran into VPN-related issues. Will do research myself but if you/another commenter has insight I'd appreciate it!

I found the individual pieces through my research earlier this year. Laying it out for me plainly really helps and has me revisiting the idea. I think I stumbled after learning about the need for enough funding to self-support? I'll look into it more.

Where did you order your battery, and how did you replace it? My mom's 7a is having battery issues and this may be a good path for her.
That sounds pretty excellent! I think my hesitation stems from ensuring I back up the correct data currently on my phone as well as post-install setup. Can you elaborate on those processes?
Thank you for the assistance! From my earlier research I do hold a qualifying engineering degree. I'm also interested in studying for a Masters or potentially PhD at Göthenburg, but frankly will accept any path to legally move and work somewhere that isn't the US. The EU in general and Sweden or Germany in particular have been my focus thus far and I sincerely appreciate a new route to investigate.
I've been sitting on the Pixel update bringing AI to my 7 Pro for 70+ days at this point. Been meaning to switch to Graphene, might be about that time.
I agree with all the points you've made, but I vehemently disagree with your rhetoric in calling people stupid.
A large portion of the people you are denigrating have been raised in areas with poorly funded and under-valued education. Some are willfully ignorant, yes, but most of those people have never been given the opportunity to learn or to appreciate the value of education.
Calling people stupid is an insult that will alienate and propagate the "us vs them" mentality we need to overcome. They are humans that have had many disservices done to them by the government and thus distrust it. We have to figure out how to work with those who have been failed, those who haven't fallen into hate but are ignorant or apathetic. Teaching literacy would go a long way.
