Glad to have you back! They defederated from us months ago.

It was the NATO puppet West Germany, who reimprisoned 100,000 gay holocaust survivors. Not the Soviet Union.
EDIT: Yes, I like history: !daily_us_history@lemmygrad.ml
Every day I see liberals cheering for fascists, I move further left.
I'm sorry, I have a really hard time reading your post. But I gather that you wanted to talk about crimes against the people instead of external entities? That's sort of what I intended to do with the comm I created. A daily reporting of the US' past human rights violations/crimes through its short history, in the style of western Tienanmen Square articles:

I've only been doing it for about a week and a half, but I already have a couple of posts there specifically relating to suppression of speech/media that doesn't agree with the western narrative. The HUAC inquisition of anti-war protesters, and the attempted character assassination of a prominent journalist.
I haven't fully decided on what I'm talking about tomorrow, but I'm leaning against talking about The Camden 28, so I'll talk about it a bit here. They were a group that attempted to sabotage the draft for the Vietnam war. The FBI had them dead to rights, but the jury refused to convict. The war was THAT unpopular, but the government still took people off the streets and sent them halfway around the world to kill people who did nothing to them. That sounds pretty totalitarian to me.
Which is honestly really surprising to me, given the sorry state of housing in Canada.
Blahaj is innocent! The trans community just adopted him because he has a pink mouth, white underbelly and blue surface. These resemble the colours of the trans flag. To the best of my knowledge, Ikea is not behind this. They might be capitalising on it now, but it's not really much different than when Subaru noticed that a not-insignificant number of their customers were lesbians and started marketing specifically to them.
I did already. But I was wrong, and that's not what's at stake here. This is about giving parents complete control over their kids online activity. So you could censor them completely from reading anything about LGBT issues for example.
Oh sorry, I glossed over this post, as your links didn't work, it was very late at night, and I was drunk.
But yes, I see now that you're a minor, and the US is planning on enforcing censorship on free thinking minors. This is bad. This is very bad. And I will join you in urging our American comrades to try to do something about this.
Just a worthless drunk living off of their hard earned tax dollars. I should have my treaty rights taken away and annexed because it's unfair to still have them over events that happened over a hundred years ago.
Someone else can probably explain better. I've seen it brought up before here (in relation to the Wikipedia drama). It was just the first thing that came to mind when I saw the term "independent news". I know it as a leftist news source that is thoroughly hated by liberals, but not one I regularly read (although I should probably start).
Neoliberals not being able to tell the difference between left and right is honestly becoming a meme at this point though. It speaks volumes to a lack of political education, and how nonsense like horseshoe theory takes hold.
Even if that were completely true, the island of Taiwan has been under the rule of mainland China since 1683. That's longer than the existence of the United States. This would be like if the CSA had occupied an island off the coast of the USA, and Britain had guaranteed their independence instead of letting the US Civil War come to an end. I don't think it matters whether the PRC has a claim to the island older than 1683 or not. It's STILL under Chinese control, and the ROC needs to be wiped out. We can talk about whether it should remain under Chinese control or not after that happens.
