If it happens that cannabis is legalized in many Eu countries, I am pretty sure that Lithuania might start considering it in 10-30 years. 🙆

Similar can happen on Reddit, but on Reddit you can leave certain subreddits, or get banned in them and life moves on. However, Facebook is different breed. Facebook is like dedicated social network for those who are not accepted (and/or feeling unwelcome) by others in real life, so in Facebook you can find conspiracy theorists with the same ideas, boomers with the same ideas and racists with the same ideas.

So happy that I left facebook ~5 years ago.

I live in shitty small city and a have shitty connectivity. Luckily, fiber is available and my phone has something called Voice Over WiFi in phone settings. Day & night difference to me. See if this helps you too?

roofuskit is right. Unless you use it as secondary method of backing up your memories - it is foolish. There are constant breaking changes that requires modification to Docker-Compose for Immich project. But you do you. :) I am not Google to tell you what to do. 😅

But it's not that difficult to dedicate Docker compose file for an "immich project" and use exactly as developer suggests. You are not like going to have 100+ users, more like 1-10 users and even RPI would be enough. It's not an issue to have small database along immich project on the same host.
