I think that is iffy, but if they bring in the big guns of a Cheney to sell it I bet it will sell like hotcakes

Right! They just empowered the fucking fascists by conceding ground that should have been fought for. Fuck Joe Biden and Harris for all of eternity. Feckless losers

I think everything the administration did in power worked against her.

They ran on being better for migrants, continued the bullshit with them.

They ran on the wave of protests for Black lives. They armed the cops even more.

They ran on actually caring about the people affected by the covid pandemic. They just declared it over when it is obviously not and still killing and disabling tons of folk.

They were proud of their support of the genocide in Gaza.

They were obviously better than Trump, but how can you run as the good guys when you do all that? No one bought it.

Sheep sheering is my uninformed guess

I was just thinking about how Ram Ranch doesn’t pass the Bechdel Test.

Obama’s biggest mistake was promising system wide change and only tinkering at the edges. His presidency was a failure because it continued with the neoliberal bullshit instead of responding to 2008 with forceful reforms.

I haven’t had it either and I will pay out of pocket for the vaccine. Kn95s when outside, n95s when in inside with people, and generally being a recluse has worked pretty well

Same but I haven’t been in a public space since early 2020. Sort of living the dream

I always would argue with my finance professors that calling it risk free was stupid given that most governments default on their debt eventually, and the US is probably no different

US Government Bonds are referred to as “risk free debt” because it is seen as the safest investment in existence. The US has never missed a payment in the whole history of the country.

Because of that all interest rates are related to the bond rate. People are getting nervous that US bonds are no longer trust worthy so they are demanding higher interest rates. This is terrible for the economy because those are the floor of interest rates. Meaning the cost to borrow is going up along with the cost of every thing else.
