2 day old account. First and only engagement is to defend a transphobe...

[–] ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

You don't have an email set on your account. I'm not sure if you're able to set one within voyager, but if you can, set a password, and try again and it should work.

If you can't, drop me a DM with a valid email address, from this account.

[–] ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 4 months ago (3 children)

Are you sure you're using the correct email address? Did you register with a valid email?

It's working on this end, which suggests it's not lemmy itself.

If all else fails, let me know the account in question, and I can reset it directly in the backend.

Can you give me some more detail? It's working fine on my end

[–] ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone 20 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Blahaj piefed ignores downvotes, so you can be safely assured that has nothing to do with it

If I had to guess, you probably saw that when we were playing around with our CDN. We found the blahaj zone CDN on this list here https://lemmy.ml/post/34374544, and made some changes to try and reduce scraping. Some images weren't loading whilst we were getting it all ironed out.

This inspired me to make one for the birds I see in my back yard!

This appeared on my feed as I was listening to ABBA - Dancing Queen, and I'm pretty sure that's what the owl was dancing to in your photo, because it lines up perfectly!

Technically, I was listening to Reina Danzante (the spanish version of Dancing Queen)

We've also increased our backend rate limits, which should also generally improve things

We've upgradde lemmy and the lemmy-ui to the latest version, so hopefully that will help

[–] ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 4 months ago

We use a self hosted reitti instance instead now

drama-free of all possible Lemmy users

That's... not how I would describe the user.

They're banned from blahaj lemmy for repeated and ongoing gatekeeping and they've got a mile long modlog...

The area they are in used to be entirely inside the centre, but is now exposed to the elements due to the intervening walls being torn down. Construction machinery is visible in the foreground

unixsocks needs new mods (lemmy.blahaj.zone)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone to c/unixsocks@lemmy.blahaj.zone

Most of the current mods are inactive, so if you're interested in helping run this community, please drop me a line on matrix, via DM or here!

I'm looking for someone that has an established history both on the threadiverse, and within this community. Ideally, you'll already have a lemmy.blahaj.zone account, but if you do not, you will need to create an alt here

Last year, blahaj zone did really well! Lets see if we can do it again!

The expression on that second birds face is meme worthy!

New Birdnet-Pi (lemmy.blahaj.zone)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone to c/birding@lemmy.world

Today, I set up my new Birdnet-Pi,a raspberry Pi, running an app that detects and identifies birds by their calls. This is my first half day of recording birds.

Image description: A screenshot of the Birdnet Pi web interface. At the top, it shows a breakdown of birds from that day, sorted by species and time. In order of total number of occurrences, the birds listed are Torresian Crow, Australasian Figbird, Noisy Miner, Barn Owl, Rainbow Lorikeet and Blue-faced Honeyeater. Beneath the list of birds, it shows a waveform graphic for the audio of the latest bird call identitied by the system. In this instance, a Torresian Crow.

I'm not from Sydney, but I took this photo when I was there this weekend gone, and thought that I'd share it
