Easy - first nations just need to stop negotiating then. (I know it's probably not that simple)

What really doesn't make sense about stuff like that is that the actual tasks AI maybe CAN do are by no means ALL that is part of a job. Unless you have AGI, you always need a human to direct/supervise/correct the AI.

I'm still angry that the libs even ran a candidate in Griesbach. They had no chance, why steal votes from the NDP for absolutely nothing?

Edit: but I'm super into your idea. Flight them with fun and malicious compliance.

That's exactly what makes me believe they will win next time with little effort. Unless the LPC delivers big, people are not going to vote "anything but conservative" again.

If Carney is smart, he actually pushes for proportional representation. It would save the liberals next election, all the smaller parties would be on board, and even if he gets ousted after, he would have secured his place in the history books (not sure how susceptible he is to appeals to his vanity...)

Sorry, didn't check back until now, but looks like it got sourced in the meantime.

The Canadian cons didn't actually boot Polievre, instead they're giving him an easy to win riding and a brand new seat in parliament so he can stay on. Which probably means he'll stick around and win the next election. I hate it.

I've had the same thought. This is a pyrrhic victory: the conservatives actually gained seats, and the smaller parties all lost ground. So if the Liberals don't deliver big, it'll be a blue wave next time.

Also, I really hope the NDP can reinvent themselves and become relevant again. We need something on the other side of the liberals.

Looks like we're in the same boat... But aside from that, I'm also annoyed that the Liberals decided to run a candidate in my riding, which before was a clear NDP win. Now they've siphoned away voters from the NDP and might give the cons the win.

I live close to 97th Street on the north side, and I always think how cool it would be if they put in a tram line on 97th... But no, only cars, ideally trucks. The people suck.

Got my licence a bit over 2 years ago. I ALWAYS use the blinkers. You never know when there's some other participant in traffic that you don't notice for which the information of what I'm about to do is important.

It annoys me to no end that a lot of drivers here won't signal for lane changes or turn offs.

Thanks for the response! Not really looking to do the whole trail, especially not on one day. Ideally I'd like to pick up a bike at one end, bike for two, three days, then return the bike where I'm at. Not realistic for anyone to cater to that.

I guess the thing is geared towards these paid tours with luggage transport etc. But I'll talk to some of the rental places, thank you :)
