My local station has said that the CPB funding is about 5% of the budget. We will be fine. What's going to happen is the rural stations will disappear. This will prevent reporting and investigating in those areas and corruption will stay in the dark.

I have problems with NPR, but this is important.

I'm a little concerned about selection bias (because obviously).

I also want to know about people who are not aware of self-hosting. If they'd be interested or even try.

Yes. You're moving heavy objects with meat in them very fast. You should always clearly indicate your intentions.

Love. Its just commuting to work along with other drivers who don't know the rules of the road that make the experience unpleasant.

But a Boss 302 can make even commuting fun. 😉

Is this a whole article? I only see one paragraph.

You're trying to show off your nice cabinets with crown molding.
You don't fool me. 🧐

Please, please keep safety first when working with these heavy vehicles. And don't cheap out when your life is on the line (jacks, ramps, brakes, steering components, ...)

Still learning about the fediverse, but... What about a simple percentage system so you can donate whatever you want. A large portion goes to the instance that you register with and smaller portions go to Lemmy programmers. Maybe portions can be set aside for parts of the fediverse that we all use like gif/video hosting. I'd say make the percentages the same across the fediverse so people know what goes where.

Personally I'd prefer monthly giving like patreon.
