for starters they didn’t state anywhere that the app’s unusable unless you buy a subscription, which means they’re just trying to aim for a higher rating on the app store by the increased no. of downloads from ppl that didn’t know that.
Secondly, have you even checked the reviews of the app? Check latest ones, not “Most relevant” — majority of those reviews and ratings were left by bots trying to do what I mentioned above
